This activity took place on 18 November 2021, in the Botanical Garden of the Universitat de València, related with the activities of the Luís Amigó Chair UV.
The session started with the intervention of Irene Gavidia Mir, autonomic secretary of primary care and social services, who estimated as one of the priorities how the inversion in family hosting reached 19.4 millions of euros, more than three times of the inversion made in 2019. This measures are the ones that allow family hosting, which in our community represents a 64% of the global protection system, while in the Spanish State it represents a 40%.
The presentation continued with the Dr Mavi Mestre, Principal of the Universitat de València, who expressed her great appreciation for the participation and implication of the Consellería of Gender Equality and Inclusive Politics in these important social politics, and she gave a warm welcome in the Official Association of Social Work to the experts, technicians and professionals that attended from other autonomous communities. She also welcomed the people related with the Luís Amigó Chairand with the Amigó Foundation, and the researcher team headed by the principal investigator Dr José Javier Navarro Pérez, director of the Chair, who has leaded the project addressed in the conference.
