Amadeo Fuenmayor acted as master of ceremonies on behalf of the faculty of the class honoured.
The 11th Annual Alumni Meeting of the Faculty of Economics was held on 24 November. Every year the Faculty organises a meeting with former students who completed their studies 25 years ago, and this year it was the turn of the 1998 graduates.
Amadeo Fuenmayor, lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics and Head of the Chair of Regional Taxation,
on behalf of the teaching staff of that class, gave an emotional and relaxed speech to those present in which he revisited the memories shared.
He then hosted three distinguished representatives of the graduating class: Sonia Díaz, Director General of the Valencian Tax Agency; Pilar Chorén, Managing Director of the Institut Valencià d'Investigacions Econòmiques (Ivie); and Mª José Puigcerver,
Director of Forinvest. All three highlighted the importance of university for both professional and personal growth.
To close the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Francisco Muñoz, congratulated the 1998 graduates on their careers and invited them to continue participating in university life.
