Basketball Chair l’Alqueria del Basket awards its prizes to the best Final Undergraduate Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master’s Degree Project (TFM), and Final Projects of the Higher Vocational Training Degree (TFG FP).
Last 10 January the resolutions of de Vice-Principal for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer were published. These resolutions include the awards “Basketball Chair l’Alqueria del Basket” of the Universitat de València to the best projects related to basketball.
The purpose of this call is to award the best Final Undergraduate Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master’s Degree Project (TFM) and Final Degree Projects of Higher Technician in Teaching and Socio-Sportive Animation (TSEAS) and which content is oriented towards basketball from any approach and area of knowledge, with the aim of promoting study of any aspect related to this sport among university and FP students. The awards are aimed at students of official degrees from Spanish universities and students of Higher Vocational Training (TSEAS).
In this edition, 5th for TFG and TFM and 3rd for the FP, 9 TFG, 6 TFM and 1 TFG have been submitted.
The first prize for the TFG has been awarded to the project presented by Lucas Guillemot (European University of Valencia), entitled “Estudio piloto del análisis de los efectos derivados por dos programas de calentamiento para la práctica de baloncesto sobre variables funcionales: especificidad versus generalidad”. The second prize went to Diego Plasencia (University of Extremadura) for his work entitled “Análisis de lanzamiento en baloncesto entre hombres y mujeres en una competición por eliminatorias”. The runner-up prize was awarded to José Javier López (University of Granada) for his work “Planificación para la mejora de la atención del equipo alevín masculino del CB La Zubia”.
In the TFM category, the first prize went to Andreu Casadevalls (Catholic University of Valencia) for his work entitled “Relación del rendimiento físico y el rendimiento académico en deportistas de alto nivel”. The second prize was awarded to Beatriz Cercos (Universidad Politecnica de Valencia) for her project entitled “Anàlisis del balanç competitiu en bàsquet femení espanyol”. Lastly, the runner-up prize was awarded to Ariadna Majó (Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona) for her project entitled “Valoración de los test clásicos y con dual-task para el return to play en jugadores y jugadoras de baloncesto post-operación quirúrgica de rodilla”.
The winner of the prize for the best TFG FP project was Deivid Boyanov (IES Districte Maritim de Valencia) with the project entitled “Ballfun Academy”.
