Universitat de València chair of Youth presents the 8th Pill of the audiovisual project Pin Joven, this time dedicated to building digital identity.

This new pill addresses the role of social media as space of identity production where young people form their digital identity by combining elements of their own subjectivity with dominant images and social narratives of the digital environment.

The pill invites to reflection on identity projection, negotiation and transformation in social media, as well as the need of educative and critical mentoring to help young people develop a conscious, autonomous and healthy relationship with the digital space.

With this, the Pin Joven project grows its catalogue of audiovisual resources aimed for education, reflection and knowledge transference regarding youth.
