Tuesday 29 October 2024 at 5pm, at the Aula Magna from La Nau Cultural Centre

With the occasion of the #AdaLovelaceDay the project Girls4STEM, in collaboration with the Cinema Club from the Universitat de València, has programmed for Tuesday 29 October at 5pm a session dedicated to our godmother Nathalie Martínez, producer and film director, specialized in the audiovisual animated sector.
This Professional Talk will be celebrated on-site in the Aula Magna in La Nau Cultural Centre (c/ de la Universitat, 2, 46003, València), and also online through the YouTube channel of Girls4STEM. Since our godmother works in the audiovisual area, this edition will be done along between the Cinema Club from the UV and the Girls4STEM project. Registration will open at 5pm, and at 5.30pm the talk will begin, it will include both the presentation of our #ExpertasSTEM and the projection of the short “Blue y Malone. Casos imposibles”, produced by the godmother of the talk. When finished, there will be a networking moment and a free refreshment.
These talks have the goal of bringing to light professional women from the STEM branch and their work using a light and loosen format. In this case, what is more, the workshop will be an intersection between the STEM and the audiovisual area. The experts that will be talking in this session will be Cristina Polo Conde, Helena Valcárcel Carrión and Silvia Valero Bosch.
This talk is inside the organized activities organized by Girls4STEM from the ETSE-UV, the Office of the Vice-Principal for Equality, Diversity and Inclusive Policy, the Equality Unit and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Innovation and Transfer from the Universitat de València. In addition, it has received financial support from the Valencian Employment Service (LABORA) of the Generalitat Valenciana. On this occasion we also count with the support of Cinema Club from the UV, through the University of Valencia General Foundation.
The main objective of the Girls4STEM project is to promote STEM areas among the general public, especially among girls.
