The members of the MESVAL Chair –Manuela Pardo del Val, Elvira Cerver Romero, Juan Francisco Martínez Pérez and Antonia Mohedano Suanes–, all of them highly experienced researchers, have published the article “From Startup to Scaleup: Public Policies for Emerging Entrepreneurial Ecosystems” in the prestigious journal “The Journal of the Knowledge Economy”.
The authors analyse which measures can be addressed in an emerging entrepreneurial ecosystem, basing their research on Valencian language, to facilitate the growth of start-ups. Specifically, they propose 13 actions that are articulated on three big areas: boosting the disponibility of talent, promoting networking opportunities, and reinforcing the entrepreneurial culture of the place.
This article has its origin in the working document “De startup a scaleup: el ecosistema emprendedor de València como facilitador del crecimiento”. This corresponds to one of the Chair’s research, which can be downloaded from our publications section.
