The POWERCO-UV Chair will host a seminar with the goal to present the general manufacturing process of batteries for electric mobility and storing energy that is being implemented by the PowerCo Gigafactory (Volkswagen) in Sagunto. The event will take place on 14 November 2025 at 04:30pm in the 4.3 classroom of the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) of the Universitat de València.
The seminar titled “From materials to cells: the process of PowerCo manufacturing” will be conducted by Dr Alberto Adán Más, Battery Cell Technical Trainer in PowerCo. During this session, the manufacturing process of the Unified Cell (UFC), optimised in flexibility, efficiency, energetic density, fast charging and safety will be presented.
Lada Giniyatova, Future Talent & Onboarding, will also participate in the seminar. She will present the PowerCo company and its professional profiles.
With this, the POWERCO-UV Chair offers students and researchers from the Universitat de València the opportunity to explore a new technological development that is having a strong impact on the Valencian Community.
