The Divina Pastora Chair of the Adapted Sports of the UV presents the Yearly Memory of the year 2013.

 The Principal Office building of the UV celebrated, last Monday 13 January, the yearly meeting of the Joint Committee of the Divina Pastora Adapted Sports Chair for the UV (CDPD), formed by Silvia Barona, the president of the Chair and the Vice-Principal of Communication and Institutional Relations; José Campos, manager of the Chair and of the Physical Education and Sports Service of the UV; Pilar Nieto, general sub-director of corporative responsibility of the Divina Pastora Chair; Rosa Laparra, director of the Divina Pastora Foundation; and Miguel Ángel Torregrosa, coordinator of the adapted sports programme from the Physical Education and Sports Service.
During the meeting the yearly memory of the activities realized during 2013, the budget execution for this current year and the new activities proposal for 2014.
In 2013, the CDPDAUV developed an activity according to its foundational aims, specially centered in helping the sports people, the training and the dissemination. A program in which included teaching, cultural and extensive activities, oriented towards the knowledge, the diffusion, the foment and the educative cooperation into the adapted sports, as well as the organization of meetings and sessions about technical and technological dissemination.
It must be highlighted, as well, the launching of the Adapted Sports Observatory, created in December 2012, which started its trajectory with the project Adapted Sports Observatory in the UV: an exploratory study (El deporte adaptado en la universidad: un estudio exploratorio).
The Chair gave 12 helps for the students of the UV, what confirms its decided support for the promotion and foment of the sport in the competitive and recreational skills, the suppression of barriers and a better compatibility between the studies and the sports practice.
Therefore, they were firstly called the CDPDAUV Prizes for the Year 2012-2013, to the best end of Masters Studies and Full Professor works, which dealt with the questions related to the adapted sports in all the areas of knowledge of the UV.
