Created in 2007 under the sponsorship of Banco Santander, its main objective is the preparation of educational, cultural, research and university outreach activities aimed towards the continuous improvement of knowledge in the field of international finance. In particular, this Chair will focus on the organisation and development of training activities, such as courses, seminars, congresses or conferences; on the development research programmes related to finance; on the support, where appropriate, for the publication of articles, monographs, book chapters and books on issues related to the Chair; on the organisation of cultural activities and activities for the dissemination of teaching and research related to the Chair; and on the promotion of the mobility of undergraduate and graduate students in activities related with the Chair.
