Speaker: Dr Francisco García

Francisco García García takes part in the scientific team of the department of Computational Genomics of Dr Joaquín Dopazo in the Research Centre Príncipe Felipe in Valencia since 10 years now. The aim goal of the centre is to solve clinical and biological problems with computational approaches.

His main interests in research are related to the development of new Omics data analysis methodologies and its integration from a perspective of Systems Biology.

As a result of his scientific trajectory, he has written 42 publications and participates in different research projects. 

He is very interested in scientific communication and the development of teaching methodology in the teaching of Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Biostatistics because those are the essential aspects of comprehension, integration and development of these areas inside the multidisciplinary scientific groups. Because of that, he usually takes part as a teaching collaborator in different professional and university activities.
