On 18 november will take place the workshop “Sentiment Analysis with Lingmotif”, given by professor Antonio Moreno Ortíz of the University of Malaga. It is a complementary training activity for all the students of the Master’s Degree, and mandatory for some of its subjects.
At the workshop will be performed an introduction to the analysis of automatized sentiments in texts using the tool Lingmotif, developed by the Tecnolengua Group of the University of Malaga. There will be introduced basic concepts for the sentiment analysis: texts classification by polarity, creation of sentiment lexicon and tools commonly used in this discipline.
In addition, the functioning of Lingmotif will be explained and will be carried out practices with this tool, which the attendants will use in order to perform concrete analysis of different texts, with the aim of extracting information of them and assess the efficiency of this tool and its possibilities.

- Equipment: it is mandatory to bring a laptop with Windows 7 or Windows 10 to download the software. On 16 November the instructions for installing the software in the computers will be given.
