The Principal of the University of Valencia, having reviewed the proposal of the University’s Emergency Committee in light of the evolving meteorological alert situation, declares Emergency Level 1 at the UV starting from 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14.

At this level of emergency, in-person academic activities will resume. Scheduled exams, practical sessions, and compulsory-attendance activities will not be suspended; however, failure to attend due to justified circumstances that prevent travel to the campuses will not have academic repercussions for students. Students who are unable to attend due to the alert or risk situation will be allowed to complete the activities on an alternative date.
Likewise, in-person administrative, research, cultural, and sports activities will also resume. Those responsible for the different university units may authorize remote work, taking into account the individual circumstances of the staff under their supervision.
The University’s Emergency Committee will continue to monitor the situation and assess the possibility of modifying the alert levels depending on weather developments.
