To assign the institution where the internship will take place, there will be a period during which the institutions will be published, along with a questionnaire in which students will specify their preferences for the institution and the department of their university advisor. Assignments will be made in order based on the student’s cumulative GPA up to that point.

Students may apply to complete their internship through the self-directed internship procedure by proposing a host institution that meets the following conditions:

a)    The host institution must agree to host the internship.
b)    The Academic Coordination Committee (CCA)
c)    If applicable, the proposed institution may accept the student in addition to the spots listed in the directory of institutions provided by ADEIT.
d)    Once approved by the CCA, ADEIT will draw up the corresponding agreement.
e)    For institutions outside Spain, the student will not be covered by student insurance.

Work experience may be recognized as part of the internship course provided that it is related to the competencies and content of the master’s program and lasts at least 6 months on a full-time basis. Proof of work history will be required.
