Laura Gil Pelluch is professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology of the University of Valencia. She is also member of the Interdisciplinary Research Structure on reading (ERI-reading). She obtained her PhD in Psychology with international mention in February of 2009 at the University of Valencia. In addition, she was a postdoctoral student Juan de la Cierva with the Research Group  "Thought, understanding and working memory" at UNED.

Her research career has focused on the analysis, evaluation and intervention in the reading comprehension processes of single and multiple texts. She has extensive experience in the design of tasks for intervention and evaluation of reading comprehension processes. She has participated in several  funded research projects related to evaluation and intervention in reading comprehension processes and executive processes.

Professor of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education. Degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences with extraordinary award. Phd. in Philosophy and Education Sciences with extraordinary award. He has been director of the M.I.D.E. department and director of Master of Special Education of the University of Valencia 2012-2014 y 2018-2021. Visiting Research Scholar at University of Colorado at Boulder and at the School of Education at Stanford University.   Member of the GemEduco group (www.uv.es/gem) and of various educational organizations. Coordinator of the Network of Educational Innovation and Teaching Quality InnovaMIDE (www.uv.es/innovamide). Priority lines of research: design of measurement and evaluation instruments, evaluation of competences, programs, teaching staff and educational systems; educational innovation. He has participated and directed various national and international research projects.

Doctor and Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2004 from the University of Valencia. Professor of the Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education (MIDE) Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia.

Teacher of Information Collection Methods; Diagnosis and Education; Social and community diagnosis and diagnosis of special educational needs.

She is co-director of the Master's Degree in Permanent Training in Attention to Diversity and Inclusive Education at the University of Valencia-ADEIT from the 2014/15 academic year to the present.

Co-director of the Master's Degree in Permanent Training in High Ability Education and Talent Development- Universitat de València- ADEIT from the 2022/23 academic year to the present.

Javier Roca is associate professor at the University of Valencia (Spain). He is also researcher at the ERI-Lectura (Interdisciplinary Research Structure on Reading). He obtained a Degree in Psychology (University of Valencia), a Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience (University of Granada), and a PhD in Experimental Psychology (University of Granada). His research focuses on the study of cognitive processes and its application in daily living activities, such as reading or driving a vehicle. Since 2012, he has been leading a funded research line on the difficulties of adults with and without reading impairment (dyslexia) to acquire text and pictorial information from traffic signs.
