1. Procedure and Criteria for the Allocation of Internship Placements to Students.

Prior to the allocation of placements, an information session is held for students regarding the Master's internships and the procedure to be followed, delivered by the technician designated by ADEIT and the Master's director.

Placements are assigned considering their suitability for the student's professional specialization interests and for professional regulations. In the order established by the Master's admission score, each student is invited to an individual tutoring session where they state their interest in several placements in order of preference. Information provided by the student at the beginning of the course is also available from a questionnaire in which they are asked about their preferences, professional interests, and the specific field of Speech-Language Pathology they wish to specialize in.

Considering the suitability of the destinations and associated tasks and the student's professional specialization interests, along with regulatory aspects (e.g., adequacy of qualifying training from a health-related degree, so that, for example, graduates of education degrees do not complete internships in health centers such as hospitals), the Academic Coordination Committee assigns each student a placement from the available offer.
