Alba, a white girl aged 14, and Dída, a black boy aged 9, are the only survivors of a holocaust of alien origin that destroyed the planet. While they recover from the catastrophe, as well as having to adapt to a devastated world and infested of cadavers, they propose as a mission preserving the human culture, which implies procreating.
