Alice Howland (Julianne Moore) is proud of the life that has taken her much effort to build. In her fifties, she is a Cognitive Psychology professor at Harvard and a renowned expert linguist, with a successful husband and three adult children. Suddenly, she starts feeling disoriented and a tragic diagnosis changes her life forever, at the same time that changes her relationship with her family and with the world. Elegantly and delicately, the author approaches us to the feelings of who suffer Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
