Which are the enrolment dates?

You have to enrol at the specified date. You can receive the details for the appointment date in two ways:

First enrolment. You will be given the appointment details in the information meeting where you will be briefed about all the documentation necessary for the enrolment.
Second and subsequent enrolment. A text message will be sent to your phone indicating the appointment date for the enrolment.
DO NOTE: If your phone number has changed, you will have to inform the Secretary so they can update the information.

Why do I have been appointed to this turn of enrolment (enrolment day)?

The enrolment appointments are organised according with the school performance of the students, measured by the weighted sum of three terms, with the 25, 25 and 50% of the weight respectively (1st the number of credits that are subtracted to obtain the degree, 2nd the average score of the student record, 3rd the proportion of credits earned regarding to the number of credits the student has enrolled to in the present year).

How can I enrol?

If it is your first year you will have to come to the Faculty to enrol in the day and hour you are appointed to. You will need to bring your ID card, the letter from the Social Security with the number of your bank account.
If it is your second or subsequent year, you can enrol through the student website from any computer with an Internet connection or you can come to the Faculty in the day and hour you are appointed to.

Can I authorise someone to enrol in my name?

Yes. The assigned person will have to bring an authorisation to his/her name with his/her ID card, signed by you, with a copy of your ID card.

What happens if I cannot enrol at the appointment date and I do it later on?

If you are late, there is no problem, you can enrol later, but you have to take in account that you lose the preference that you had by the appointment date for the enrolment.

How many credits I have to enrol for?

In the first enrolment you will have to enrol for 60 credits.
From upper years on, you can enrol for 36 to 72 credits, except authorisation form the principal, but you have to take in account that you have to pay minimal fees of 211.01€ for Undergraduate studies and 300€ for diplomaturas and licenciaturas, despite of the value of the credits for which you have enrolled is lower than that amount.

Do I have to earn a number of minimum credits each year?

For newly enrolled first year students (i.e. your first year in the course) you have to earn a minimum of 12 credits, if you don’t earn these credits, you will not be able to enrol for the same course for the two academic years after.
For second and subsequent year students, if among two years you have not earned more than 36 credits in the 3rd enrolment you will not be able to enrol for more than 36.

Do I have a maximum of recalls for passing a subject?

Yes. You have a maximum of 6 recalls for passing the subject. If you don’t assist, a recall is not counted. Each academic course has 2 recalls.

Is there an exception to the maximum number of recalls for passing a subject?

The 6 recalls are not applied in case you have less than equal to 15% of the credits in your study plan to finish your degree. Additionally, it is not applied in case of the existence of a personal just cause that could have influenced in the performance (serious illness or other case of force majeure). It is competence of the principal the final decision over this situation.

I am a transfer student from another university. Do recalls I made there count here?

Yes. Recalls that you have previously used in other universities count as one of the 6 that you have.

If I ask for a scholarship, of how many credits am I forced to enrol for?

Of 60 credits, if you were a full-time student.
If you have asked the dean for a part-time studentship you have to enrol for 36 credits.

What are cut-off marks?

Consult cut-off marks to:
Undergraduates >> Courses >> Admission >> Pre-enrolment or Cut-off marks

I have not been obtain admission, are there waiting lists?

Regarding vacant places there will be callings for waiting lists in public sessions strictly on grade order. Date and hour of the callings will be published in the webpage of the Faculty and the allocation of places will be carried out by a show of hands.
People that assist to this reunion and have not obtained place, can leave their phone number to which they will be called strictly on grade order, in case that there is a vacant place.

I have problems with the enrolment in the “Cursos de Extensión Universitaria” (University Extension Courses). Can I enrol in this courses? And where?

These courses are organised by the “Servicio de Extensión Universitaria” (Service of University Extension) and they are responsible for the enrolment, certificates of assistance or any other problem related with these courses, so you have to ask them. Their phone number is 963983800.

I have problems with the “Aula Virtual”. I cannot see the subjects I have rerolled for. Some subjects I have withdrawn from appear there when they should not.

The Secretary is not the responsible for this application; you should ask aulavirtual@uv.es, they should be able to solve any problem with this application. However, before you ask them, try to update your enrolment for the course, this option is available in the front page, it is just the first in the list.

I am attending a course of university extension and I want to know if the credits that they offer validate for an undergraduate course.

The undergraduate study plan does not include open credits. This means that you cannot take this option.
If the validation is considered, which in any case will only be from up to 6 optional credits, will be for the enrolment in cultural, sports, student representation, supportive and cooperation activities, provided that they are authorised by the Governing Board of the University.
