What do I have to do to request a degree?
Once you have checked in your academic record that you have the right amount of credits required (core, compulsory, optional and open) to complete the course, you can request the degree in the Secretary.
The deposit of the degree together with the payed receipt, has an official recognition while the degree is going through the proceedings.
When can I pick up the degree?
You will receive a letter at the address you have specified, in which you will be pointed out that the degree is already printed and ready to pick up in the Secretary of the Faculty, and you will have to do so within a stipulated time frame.
What do I need to collect the degree?
- You will have to come in person with your valid ID card (or passport) to the Secretary.
- In case you cannot pick it up in person you can authorise someone by power of attorney.
- If you do not live in Valencia and have no possibility to come in person, you can request us to send the degree to the delegate offices or subdelegate offices of the city you live in and, in case you live abroad, you can request the degree to be sent to you through the Spanish embassy or consulate of your country.
How much costs the degree?
The corresponding rates to the issuing of degrees vary with each year, the prices are set by the Generalitat Valenciana. You will have to look at the price table published in the web.
What do I do if I lose the degree?
Before you request a copy of the missing degree check thoroughly that you do in fact, not have it. Not only you will have to pay the issuing rates but you will also have to pay the corresponding rates to the publishing of the announcement of the loss in the BOE, which is usually around 100€.
You will have to come to the Secretary in order to request by a claim a copy of the degree.
Certification of the degree
In order to certificate a degree you will have to come in person, or someone you authorised, with the original degree and a photocopy in both sides. You will be given a receipt for the corresponding rates.
