The Valencian Association of Anthropology invites to anthropologists and social scientists in general to present papers and to reflect on collective heritage, and for this reason it announces the Fourth Sessions of the Valencian Association of Anthropology under the title “Heritage, Memory and Conflict”, which will take place in Valencia on 24 and 25 April 2015.
The Fourth Sessions of the Valencian Association of Anthropology aims to analyse and discuss within the framework of advanced modernity the new agents and objects of policies/heritage activations. Thus, the sessions will focus on the four analytical lines, in which the different approaches can merge:
- Heritage and memory policies
- Heritage, power and conflict
- Heritage and citizenship participation
- Heritage and tourism
