"INTEGRA-ELE. Teaching methodologies for the linguistic and cultural integration of refugees and migrants" is an innovation project whose main purpose is the incorporation of non-profit entities in the didactics of teaching innovation, in particular the development of active methodologies (service-learning, cooperative and collaborative learning, project-based learning) in the teaching of Spanish to groups of refugees and migrants, in order to achieve their linguistic and cultural integration in the Spanish society and in the Valencian society, in particular.
This conference will present the results of this educational innovation project coordinated by lecturers Amparo Ricós and Virginia González, carried out during the 2022-2023 academic year. The students involved in the project will participate, as well as representatives of the NGOs Spanish Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado (CEAR), Servicio Jesuita al Migrante (SJM) and the Centre d'Idiomes de la Universitat de València.
