The conference on December the 17th and the 21st 2021 will be held to present the results of the students in the subject of Teaching Art and Visual Education at Primary School. In this case, the results are linked to innovation actions in the strategic line of active learning methodologies.

The Teaching Art and Visual Education in Primary School is a compulsory subject of specific didactics. It is taught in the second year for all students and is included in the teaching innovation project Arte y Educación – UV-SFPIE 164 20 62. Of the project objectives, the following are being addressed.

• To apply active teaching methodologies, encouraging student involvement in the learning process and reflective thinking about the profession.
• To design learning activities where the arts help in the understanding of curricular content both in school subjects and in higher education.
• To highlight the role of the arts in integral human development through educational innovation by creating networks for the exchange of experiences and practices.
• To disseminate the results of innovation actions in the academic and social spheres.
