The students of the subject ‘of 4th year in the Degree in Chemical Engineering, visited the facilities of the Fertiberia factory in port de Sagunt on last 14 November.
This plant produces nitric acid and ammonium nitrate from ammonia. Practically, the total ammonium nitrate produced is used as fertilizer.
They were accompanied by Professor Javier de la Torre.
