This workshop is designed for researchers in science and engineering who seek to publish in open access, highlighting practical strategies to maximize the impact and visibility of their articles. They will address the advantages of open access journals, the selection of quality platforms, the management of publication costs (APCs) and the enhancement of ethical standards. Participants will learn about MDPI's editorial policies, including alignment with the FAIR principles (accessible, interoperable and reusable data). Directing academics at all levels, the event will promote transparency and accessibility in scientific communication. The final objective is to strengthen the competencies to publish in the open, contributing to collaborative and sustainable science.
