The Faculty of Law hosts this conference.
The Faculty of Law hosts the conference the next Thursday and addressed, through participation of experts, the analysis of the fundamental law through topics such as private law and public law or the constitutional reform.
The opening ceremony of the conference, which takes place in the Joaquín Tomás Room (1P20), Faculty of Law, at 16:00, where the Executive President of the Patronat Sud-Nord, José Miguel Soriano; the Dean of the Faculty, Maria Elena Olmos; and Luis Jimena Quesada, Full-University Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Valencia.
The first lecture (16:30) by Manuel Becerra Terol, Full-University Professor of Constitutional Law at the University Pablo de Olavide of Sevilla and responsible for the drafting of the new Moroccan Constitution. Terol Becerra will reflect on private law and public law in the fundamental law of the North African country.
Then (at 17.30), also from the University Pablo de Olavide, the Professor Abdelhamid Adnane Rkioua poses a lecture on constitutional reforms in Morocco, that is moderated by Carmen Salcedo Beltran, Tenured University Professor of Labour Law at the University of Valencia. Abdelhamid Adnane is Professor of Constitutional Law and Deputy Director of the Euro-Arab Center for Advanced Legal Studies.
The closing meeting is scheduled at 18:30 hours and will be in charge of the Director of the Department of Constitutional Law at the University, Margarita Soler, and Professor Carmen Salcedo, director of the conference together with Luis Jimena Quesada.
This is a free admission activity, although the places are limited to the capacity of the room. A certificate is also provided to people who want it by registration via email carmen.salcedo@uv.es
