In this workshop you will achieve a clear vision of what a quality management system and evaluation of maturity is in the area of software projects supported by standards such as ISO 15504/ ISO 12207 or CMMI. You will also be able to introduce yourself in a real scenario of processes implementation and improvement in software projects of an organisation.

The industry of information and development of software technologies is a key to understand the transformation of the society and the day-to-day of organisations.

The importance of being able to keep a proper control over the processes that direct, produce and support the software development to contribute with the maximum value and the necessary reliability to its customers.

On the other hand, these processes are implanted and maturated by organisations in a way of continuous improvement that needs a stablished strategy and a correct dissemination and teams’ implications.

This strategy must be based on a “map” or a “growth way” that tell us from where we start and where we want to arrive. Here is where standards such as CMMI or ISO 15504/ISO 12207 can help us to illuminate the pathway to an improvement of the development of our organisation’s software.
