Requisits titulació

Applicants are required to hold at least a Bachelor´s Degree in a clinical or scientific field related to reproductive or clinical embryology. The acceptance process, in addition to the standard graduate studies application procedure, is contingent upon the University of Valencia's approval and the supervision of the Course Director.

The general access requirements vary according to the type of program:

* For UV-specific masters degree:

- Possession of a Spanish or foreign university degree enabling access to official postgraduate programs.
- Students in the process of completing up to 10% of a university degree are eligible, with the condition that the degree is finalized before the conclusion of the postgraduate course.

*For Specialist Diploma:
- A Spanish or foreign university degree granting access to official postgraduate programs.
- Students with pending completion of up to 10% of a university degree can apply, with the requirement to finish the degree before the postgraduate course concludes.
- Experienced professionals in the field are welcome.

*For Expert Diploma:
- A Spanish or foreign university degree granting access to official postgraduate programs.
- Students with less than 10% remaining to complete their degree may be conditionally accepted, with the stipulation to obtain the title in the same academic year.
- Experienced professionals in the field are encouraged to apply.

*For Certificate:
- Ability to access the University.
- Experienced professionals in the field are eligible to apply.

Criteris admissió

In the event of an oversubscription where the number of applications exceeds the available positions, the selection process will give weight to the average grade of the official degree. Applicants with higher average grades will be given priority in securing a place in the program.

Resultats d'aprenentatge

Learning outcomes encapsulate the expectations for a student's knowledge, understanding, and capabilities upon completing a training and learning process. They encompass:
- Knowledge or content that has been understood, assimilating theories, information, data, etc.
- Abilities or skills, attitudes, and values for applying knowledge, employing techniques to complete tasks, and solving problems.
- Demonstrated competencies or abilities to use knowledge, skills, and personal, social, and methodological aptitudes in work or study situations, fostering professional and personal development.

Students, upon completing their studies, must be able:
1. To understand the biological processes involved in gametogenesis, fertilization and embryo development.
2. To acquire knowledge about Human Reproduction Physiology.
3. To have enough knowledge about the history and general concepts of Assisted Reproduction.
4. To master the different causes of sterility, as well as the techniques (basic and advanced) of Assisted Reproduction, understanding how to choose the most appropriate technique based on the type of sterility.
5. To know the different techniques of genetic diagnosis (preconception, preimplantation and prenatal), the purposes and risks in order to provide a correct diagnosis and to apply the most appropriate technique based on the patient¿s anamnesis.
6. To understand the different techniques and protocols that are developed in the IVF and Andrology laboratories.
7. To acquire knowledge about all genetic tests available, and their underlying biological processes, most currently used in the field of genetic reproduction.
8. To know how to analyze the ethical and legal aspects of Assisted Reproduction Techniques.
