IRTIC receives recognition for its work and trajectory on the 10th anniversary of the Science Park

The Research Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies received recognition for its work during the main event of the 10th anniversary of the Science Park. This award recognises "its capacity and its driving role in the transfer of knowledge".

The Research Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies received recognition for its work during the main event of the 10th anniversary of the Science Park. This award recognises "its capacity and its driving role in the transfer of knowledge".

The award ceremony was attended by the Regional Minister for Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, Carolina Pascual, and the rector of the University of Valencia, Mavi Mestre. Along with the IRTIC, the Research Institutes that are part of the Science Park were also recognised.

10th anniversary of the Science Park

In September 2009, the University of Valencia Science Park was officially inaugurated. The project sought to develop an innovation ecosystem that would favour the transfer of knowledge. The Science Park is currently home to seven research institutes, including IRTIC, as well as two unique centres. The Science Park also hosts more than 90 innovative science and technology-based companies.

The institutional event that took place today was attended by Nuria Oliver, computer scientist in charge of the Data Science department at Vodafone and specialist in computational models of human behaviour. The scientist gave a talk entitled Towards Artificial Intelligence by and for Society
