The members of EURINV19 have kept working towards the objective of updating the electronic invoicing platforms of 5 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers to be fully compliant with the European eInvoicing standard (EN) required syntaxes (UBL and CII). One of the activities carried out during the project has consisted in identifying technical and national context requirements to be followed by the participants for the implementation of the different solutions.

In this sense, the update of the electronic invoicing cloud platforms of the EDI providers and the uptake of elnvoicing solutions compliant with the EN by the 4 end-users is among these efforts. The European Commission funds this initiative through the CEF Telecom programme.

One of the activities developed has consisted on the review by each consortium member of the EU Directive and the decisions taken by the European Commission and by the CEN regarding the adoption of the EN on electronic invoicing, especially the approved syntaxes (UBL 2.1 and CII). It has also included the review of the elDAS Regulation and the national transpositions of the EU Directive.

Under this activity, the implementation of the technical aspects has been the main focus, as well as the validation tests and implementation plans. Participating in the project are Universitat de València, LMT Group, Elcom, SATA, Trinity College, NetEDI, Generix Group France, Crediflow, Qvalia, Transalis, Easy Systems, Tatra Billing, Carrefour and Althea.
