The entities participating in the LOD-RoadTran18 project met on October 1st for the second consortium meeting. IRTIC coordinates the action, funded by the European Union through the CEF mechanism, with the support of LMT Group.

The project aims, among other matters, to improve the interoperability, distribution and reusability at European level of traffic data from Spain and the Czech Republic, as well as for them to become linked open data (LOD). LOD-RoadTran18 will contribute to the visualization and downloading of data, in addition to improving the extraction of meaning from them, which will allow other types of services that can only be achieved with the use of LOD.

Along with IRTIC and LMT Group, the Directorate- General of Traffic, Desidedatum Data Company S.L, ESAM Tecnología S.L., Universitat Politècnica de València, TamTam Research and the Czech Technical University participate in the project.
