The Icelandic members of the ICELAND-INV18 project are participating on November 12th in the conference on how the European digital invoicing standard EN 16931 has been implemented in the initiative. The event will focus on technical and operational aspects of the action, as well as on the experience of the institutions that are part of the consortium.

In this sense, the project aims to support 8 Icelandic institutions in the incorporation of the European EN electronic invoicing standard. In this way, the entities involved have worked to update their system and to make it compatible with that of other European countries. The improvement will save costs and time both for the providers of the participants and for themselves and will make it possible to speed up procedures.

The main lessons learned during the development of the action will be presented during the conference, as well as the CEF eDelivery and eInvoicing Building Blocks and associated services.

With the coordination and technical support of Universitat de València, LMT Group and Unimaze, the conference organiser, the ICELAND-INV18 project has the participation of FMS, Grímsnes, SKEIDA, OV, Akureyri, IST, ICEPRO, ORKUVEITA, Félagsbústaðir and Iceland Telecom.
