The EUROLogin20 initiative has been completed this month with the confirmation of the integration of the DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) electronic identification (eID) into the systems of the European Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers participating in the project. The Action has been designed to facilitate access to their services for all EU citizens and businesses using their national eID, so as to ensure cross-border mobility and support the Digital Single Market.

The European Commission has co-funded the project through the CEF Telecom programme managed by HaDEA. Nubilaria and headOn, from Italy and the Netherlands respectively, are part of this Action coordinated by the Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC).

This Action is a step forward in the efforts to enable European citizens and entities to identify themselves digitally for transactions or any kind of management, regardless of where they live. This requires the integration of EDI providers into national exchange nodes (eIDAS).

The purpose of integrating Nubilaria's eID into its EDC clinical platform through this initiative is to enable users of the platform to use their own national eID schemes to access qualified parts of the process, as well as, with the increase in telemedicine studies, to allow patients to submit their data in a secure manner.

As for the headON Cargoledger platform, it aims to enable its customers to register international logistics providers.
