The SupervisAR 15 UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) system complements the students' laboratory sessions, displaying the theoretical explanations of the practical sessions (Augmented Reality).
The system incorporates a control station which teachers can use to launch different exercices for each group of students and to check what the 15 groups are seeing in their computers. It also has bi-directional audio communication via WiFi connection.
The instructor station plays a triple role: transport, storage and workbench. In transport position, thanks to its moving structure, it is shaped like a transport box with a size of 60x40x50 cm. All the necessary devices, including the 15 UMPCs (each in its repective charger) are stored in this box. Moreover, it incorporates 4 wheels on the bottom and two handles on top for easy transport. This way, all the system is transported like a conventional fly-box, so all the system is mobile.
Once open, this station serves as a workbench. In this case, the screen is at a height of 120cm. The teacher can work standing or sitting on a tall stool.
