The Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) invites potential European partners in the field of health information management to participate in the call "HORIZON-HLTH-2023-IND-06-02: Expanding the European Electronic Health Record exchange Format to improve interoperability within the European Health Data Space", focused on the promotion of a unified personal health data system, and to express their interest in forming a consortium before February 28. The project is part of the European Commission's Horizon Europe framework, will have an estimated duration of 24 months and will receive a grant of 4 million euros for each of the two best proposals.
To encourage the development of innovative technologies with useful applications for citizens and organizations, IRTIC has promoted the Join Consortium platform. Through this tool, the institute will announce calls such as the current one in which interested entities will be able to send their information to be taken into consideration in the different proposals that will be promoted.
IRTIC is looking for EU-based partners for this call that manage health data, such as members of public health, private health, hospital groups, medical research centers, clinical centers, laboratories, pharmaceutical groups and mutual health insurance companies. Interested entities that fit this profile can send their contact information, as indicated above, until February 28 to ehealth@irtic.uv.es.
The initiative, focused on electronic health (eHealth), will be aligned with the European Directive and the European Health Data Space. The project will contribute to the implementation of this directive and the adaptation of the European standard.
Information on the Call for Proposals, for which the deadline for submitting a firm proposal is April 13, can be found at this link. The action is fully funded by the European Union.
