Armando Ortuño, professor at the University of Alicante and INTRAS collaborator, has become the first Spaniard to join the Global Infrastructure Hub (Gi-Hub).

The Global Infrastructure Hub (Gi-Hub) is the organisation created by the G-20 countries for the analysis and study of public and private infrastructures.

Ortuño is the technical director of the Madrid World Capital of Construction, Engineering and Architecture Association (MWCC), the first Spanish entity to participate in the Academic Advisory Panel of the Gi-Hub, whose function is to advise its members on the initiatives developed by the Gi-Hub in terms of infrastructures, investments on a global scale or to promote its work in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

MWCC is a non-profit association, formed by the sum of public and private entities that seek to position Madrid and Spain as a global benchmark in the field of engineering, construction and architecture.
