Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, has attended the Webinar "The Energy Transition in Competition" held on April 10, 2024.

Motorsports are increasingly committed to the need to reduce CO2 emissions, aligning with the energy transition. From 2026 Formula 1 and from 2027 MotoGP will only run on renewable fuels.

These fuels are already part of several competitions, both 100% and in different percentages. In addition to liquid renewable fuels, there are also gaseous fuels such as green hydrogen and renewable electric power.

More and more efforts and resources are being developed by the motorsport industry, and this has been reflected in this webinar.
