Alba Gómez, UV athlete, wins bronze in the University Sports Championship

On Thursday 23 November, the Patacona beach in Valencia saw good weather conditions for the Regional University Sports Championship, as the forecasts had predicted.
Participants were able to enjoy 1.5 metre waves and a very good section, in which Alba Gómez Calatayud, student of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at the Universitat de València, won bronze in women’s surfing.
The competition attracted a good number of spectators throughout the day, culminating at around 17:00 with the men’s and women’s finals
