What are the advantages of artificial intelligence as opposed to the possible problems or limitations of this technology? We talked about all this, and also about transparency and data protection.

We interviewed Emilio Soria-Olivas, Chair of Electronic Engineering at the School of Engineering of the Universitat de València (ETSE-UV). His research focuses on the application of advanced methods of automatic learning to improve decision-making in different scenarios: economic, social, health...

With him we talk about the possible applications of artificial intelligence in this context of pandemic. For example, in models of disease spread, in the generation of new drugs, in predicting patient mortality... But also in the detection of fake news.
