Ilan Pappé, one of the nominated Israeli “new historians” that have reviewed Israel’s modern history, will pronounce, at the Aula Magna from the Universitat de València the conference “Palestine against the challenges of the 21st century”.

It will take place this Saturday, 16 November at 6:30pm.

Presented by the professor Lola Bañón from the UV, who will moderate the following colloquial, during this activity of sensibilization for the situation with Palestine, we will have the intervention of the Amnesty International from Valencia and the Palestine Jerusalem Hispanic Association, Jamil Mahmoud Abusada, and Mª Vicenta Mestre dean from the University of Valencia.

This conference, organized by the Universitat de València, counts with the collaboration of the Amnesty International from Valencia and the Palestine Jerusalem Hispanic Association.

Dr Pappé is a historian professor at the Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter (United Kingdom). He previously run the Institute Emil Touma of Palestine Studies in Haifa, where he was professor of Politic Science at the University of Haifa.
