La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València will host on Monday 18th November a new round table within the framework of the Claustre Obert programme under the title ¿Senderos de Gloria? Tras las elecciones del 10-N (Paths of Glory? After the November 2019 Spanish general election). This conference will take place at 7 p.m. at the Aula Magna of La Nau. In addition, this event has been organised collaboratively between the Universitat de València and the Levante-EMV newspaper.

The round table, moderated by the sociologist Rafa Castellana, will feature the interventions of José Manuel Pavía, who holds a Degree in Mathematical Sciences and a PhD in Economics; Álex Cornes, who holds a Degree in Political Science and Journalism; and Aida Vizcaíno, who holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology.

In this debate, the state of Spain after one of the most decisive elections of the Spanish political history will be discussed.  The unexpected pact to form a progressive coalition between the PSOE Party and Podemos Party, the big escalation of VOX Party, the rise of PP Party seats or the collapse of Ciudadanos Party will be some of the topics that will be analysed in this round table.

This year’s Claustre Obert programme will conclude on Monday 9th December with an analysis of the future of pensions by specialists in the field.

Claustre Oberts is a programme made and directed jointly by the teams of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Sport of the Universitat de València and the Levante-EMV newspaper. It is aimed to be a space for meeting and debate, with plural and open vocation, which analyses social and economic reality through a circle of conferences that have been held on a Monday of every month since January of this year.
