With the aim of promoting quality employment, the Forum offers a unique chance for students and graduates of the Universitat de València looking for professional opportunities to establish direct contact with companies. In addition, it is an event where, through talks, workshops and round tables, companies and organisations present themselves and provide information on the profiles in demand in the labour market.

The Forum, in collaboration with the different university centres, responds to an organisation specialised by professional sectors. Thus, it covers companies and entities from the fields of education, scientific and technical research, health, advocacy, legal-administrative, technological, sports medicine and physiotherapy, communication, etc.

Last academic year, the Forum of the Universitat de València attracted the interest of more than 200 business organisations and social entities – public and private. It was held by 18 faculties and schools with an offer of 260 jobs and it was visited by around 3000 students (number of people registered on the different days).

This year, a similar – if not larger – number of participants is expected, starting at the Faculty of Pharmacy on 30 October. This Forum will be followed by the XXII Forum for Employment and Entrepreneurship, organised by the Faculty of Economics on days 8 and 9 November. The Faculty of Teacher Training will also organise its forum on 15 November. In addition, some meetings will be organised in the second semester: at the Faculty of Social Sciences on 29 January, at the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences on 31 January, at the Blasco Ibáñez campus on 17 February (Forum of Health Sciences), at the Faculty of Law on 14 and 15 February, at the Faculty of Geography and History on 22 February, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences on 28 February, and at the School of Engineering (ETSE) on 30 April. The Forum of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication is also planned.
