Open call for the 3rd edition of the Activa Música Contest

This competition, specifically directed toward University of Valencia students, looks to foster musical practices and shed light on creativity in the university community.
The Servei de Cultura Universitària (University Culture Service) has opened the application period for financial aid packets from Activa Música for Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctorate students of official or individual degrees, teaching and research staff, administration and service staff and staff of the university foundations that wish to present a proposal for a musical performance.
The application period, during which up to 10 musical performances will be selected, opened Tuesday 30 May and will close next Monday 26 June. A total of €5,000 will be awarded to a maximum of 10 proposals.
The goal of this contest is to promote musical culture and showcase the ingenuity of the University of Valencia community. To this end, 10 proposals will be accepted and scheduled to be performed at La Nau Cultural Centre or in another university space.
The Servei de Cultura Universitària (University Culture Service) will preside over the awarding of the grants. It should be noted that proposals will be critiqued by an evaluating committee in accordance with the criteria of artistic quality, programme definition and compliance with the terms and conditions of the contest.
To present a proposal, you must complete the form available through ENTREU with your corresponding UV username and password. Staff members belonging to university foundations, if not obliged by their own regulations to register via the university electronic access point, may also submit paper applications.
