University students, or those who will be students during the 2023-2024 academic year who wish to reside in the Principal Peset Hall of Residence on a full board basis must submit an application through the electronic portal of the Universitat de València (ENTREU). The submission of applications is divided into two processing phases: phase A from 1-30 June if you are planning to study at the Universitat de València and phase B from 1 June to 21 July if you plan to study at another public or private higher education centre. The results of the selection process will be released for phase A on 3 July and for phase B on 21 July 2023.

The Principal Peset Hall of Residence of the Universitat de València, located in the centre of the Old Town, offers more than just full board, but also two libraries, a gym, TV rooms, game rooms, music rooms, a laundry area, lounges and much more.

For the next academic year, the residence hall offers the possibility of accommodation in single and double rooms. Prices start at €737.61, being the cheapest full board option from Monday to Sunday and include breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner, room air conditioning, water and electricity, room and bathroom cleaning service and WIFI through the Eduroam network in all the facilities.

Throughout the academic year, student participation in the service committees and activities is encouraged in order to improve the functioning of the centre and to organise socio-cultural activities such as assemblies, sports days, cultural evenings, excursions, hiking, championships and visits to different cultural spaces to promote their comprehensive training and their personal interaction.

During the 2022-23 term, 129 students lived at the residence hall studying 68 different undergraduate, Master’s, and doctorate degrees. Although the majority of the students are from the region of Valencia and other cities in Spain, this year 22 different nationalities lived together, the diversity of places of origin allows students to live together and make the residence hall a place of enriching intercultural relations. This academic year, 88% of the students living at the residence hall are from the Universitat de València while the rest completed their studies in other higher education centres in Valencia.

45 Residence Grants made available for students of the Universitat de València

45 residence grants for students of the Universitat de València have been announced: 29 grants at the Principal Peset Hall of Residence and 8 at the Damià Bonet Residence Hall for students from the European Union organised by the Vice-principal for Culture and Society of the Universitat de València, and 6 residence grants at the Principal Peset Hall of Residence and 2 at the Damià Bonet Residence Hall for students from developing countries, organised by the Vice-principal for Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Life within the framework of the International Cooperation for Development programme of the 0.7 Commission of the Universitat de València.

University Residence for professors and researchers

Additionally, the residence hall has special rooms to provide housing for professors, researchers, participants in doctoral thesis tribunals, conferences, workshops, short investigative stays at university departments, as well as individuals who participate in academic, cultural or social activities carried out by the university institutes, services and departments or the cultural and social institutions of the city collaborating with the University.
