Prof. Santiago Mas Coma, Professor of Parasitology at the University of Valencia, is a member of the WHO-selected expert STAG has made the Roadmap of the World Health Organization (WHO) approved by Resolution of the Assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 28, 2013.
The implications are momentous for mankind (billions of people affected by diseases causing underdevelopment in the world) and very specifically for those working in parasitic diseases and international cooperation at all levels. Obviously there will be a before and after in the Neglected Tropical Diseases (Neglected Tropical Diseases) after yesterday. They include diseases in which Prof. Mas Coma works and his team of the University of Valencia, global reference center in WHO and FAO, such as fascioliasis (the main within the Food-Borne Trematodiases) and Chagas Disease . The vast amount of money that this represents for parasitic diseases in the coming years will open a lot of hopes and jobs.
