The 3rd Workshop of the Valenciaport Chair of Port Economics, born after the agreement between the Port Authority of Valencia (APV) and the UV, will take place on 25 February 2025.
Under the title Supply chains and ports in the new global scenario: challenges and opportunities, the event will gather experts on port economy and logistics to analyse the challenges and opportunities of maritime trade within an ever-changing global context.
The programme includes conferences by Dr. Javier Ordóñez Monfort, full time university professor of Economics at the Universidad Jaume I, Rafael Doménech Vilariño, full time university professor of Economics at the UV, and Dr. Jan Hoffmann, Global Maritime Transport and Ports Leader of the World Bank. The conference, which is to be done in Spanish, will take place at the Tarongers Campus of the UV, at the B3/B4 room of the Research Institutes Building. This workshop aims to delve deeper into the economic and logistical trends that are transforming the port sector worldwide.
