Constitution of the Chair.
On 19 May, at the headquarters of the Port Authority of València (APV), the constitution of the Chair of Port Economics, a joint project of the APV and the Universitat de València (UV), which will be developed within the framework of the Institute for International Economics (PIIE), took place.
With the presence of the President of the APV, Dr. Aurelio Martínez Estévez, and the Vice-Principal for Innovation and Transfer of the UV, Dra. Rosa María Donat Beneito, the Joint Committee of the Chair appointed the PIIE researcher Dr. Vicente Juan Pallardó López as Director of the Chair.
Then, the lines of work to be developed by the Chair team were established, as well as the dissemination activities that will be carried out to transmit to society in general, and to economic and academic agents specialised in the sector in particular, the results derived from these lines of work.
