The director of Valenciaport Chair of Port Economics will participate in this seminar where the results of the annual VCFI will be presented, an indicator that measures the tendency and evolution of transport prices of maritime containers exported from the Valencia Harbour.
The seminar, organized by the Valencia Port Authority and the Valenciaport Foundation, will take place in the Clock Building at the Valencia Harbour on May 17th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
The director of the Valenciaport Chair of Port Economics, Vicente Juan Pallardó López, will participate in this meeting where the Annual Report of Valencia Containerised Freight Index (VCFI) will be presented and the factors that have conditioned its evolution over the course of 2022 will also be under review.
Professor Pallardó (Department of Economic Structures-UV) will analyse the international economic environment and will present the last Trimestral Economic Report developed within the framework of Valenciaport Chair of Port Economics.
The seminar will also include a keynote address from geographical transport expert and professor at Hoftra University (New York), Jean-Paul Rodrigue.
