Dr. Rosa M. Baños is Full Professor of Psychopathology at the University of Valencia, where she directs the I-Psi-Tec research group and leads a CIBERobn Excellence Group (CB06/03/0052). Her research centers on digital mental health, developing and evaluating interventions using mobile applications and virtual reality to prevent and treat mental health problems and promote well-being.

She has led numerous national and international projects, advancing innovative, scalable approaches that move beyond traditional one-to-one care. Dr. Baños’s work highlights the potential of digital tools to expand access, reduce barriers, and deliver evidence-based interventions in real-world settings, fostering collaboration between university, industry, and society.

With over 400 scientific publications, Dr. Baños is recognized for her expertise in digital mental health and her commitment to interdisciplinary innovation. She actively addresses ethical, methodological, and cultural challenges to build inclusive, sustainable solutions that transform mental health care.
