Professor Marisol Lila delivered a conference presentation titled “Is gender equality the one and only solution to prevent intimate partner violence? Looking at some paradoxes” at the 10th Advanced International Seminar, held in Madrid on 28 and 29 September 2023.

This seminar, focused on the theme “Mind the gap: Advancing women’s issues in psychological research”, brought together seven highly regarded female scientists who addressed different issues related to the seminar’s topic. In her conference, Professor Lila raised several paradoxes related to the relationship between gender equality and intimate partner violence against women.
