Next November the DSDC Research Group participates in the 2nd Conference on Advanced Materials in Spain AMatS2023 through a contribution.

Next November Rearchers from DSDC Group participate in the 2nd Conference on Advanced Materials within the frame of the MAT4EMI project thorugh the contribution "Study of new materials for electromagnetic shielding in the frequency range of 5G technology".

This contribution focuses on investigating the performance of a new 2D material family of transition metal carbides known as MXene with unique sets of properties that have attracted growing attention for EMI shielding applications. The shielding effectiveness is measured with an innovative method that makes it possible to extend the frequency limit defined by the standard ASTM 4935-18 for measuring the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of planar materials in the FR1 5G frequency region (up to 7.125 GHz).
